About Us
Welcome to No Worry Websites, it has been quite a journey to get here. Want to know more about our journey keep reading below.
I’m Mark Jones and I am the owner and designer of No Worry Websites. As you will find out below I have had a few businesses before my journey took to me here.
After a career in theatre, front of house, looking after audiences on show nights and selling and making lots of money for the theatres, I decided to go and do this for myself, but I wanted a franchise and well known brand so I partnered with O2 and opened a brand new O2 Shop in Wellingborough in 2007. In 2012 we moved it to a larger shop over the road. I did this for ten years and loved helping customers and learning to run a business. At the end of the ten year franchise I moved to open stores with a second hand retailer and opened two stores with them, one in Northampton and one in Oxford. It was here some phones and tablets came back to the stores faulty. So I learnt and then set up a repair workshop to repair them so they could be resold and that would take me on to my third business.
The repair side of the business was going well and I wanted to do something for myself, so I sold the shops and opened Phone Paramedics, which was a mobile phone and tablet repair van, were we would do the repairs in a van outside customers homes or work places. We re named this to Repair Not Replace as we took on more repairs including computers and games consoles. As we grew the website grew and after 7 years we needed a new one, because of the complexity and number of pages we were quoted over £10 000 which we did not have and so we had to learn how to build a website so I enrolled for a college course, and started to learn web design and SEO.
Whilst undertaking the course, my business partner at Repair Not Replace wanted to stop and I wanted to move onto other things, as I found out I loved designing and creating websites and so we decided to stop doing Repair Not Replace. It was sad after 7 years but we both wanted to go on a new journey. I took on and launched a franchise with Business Buzz for Kettering, whilst learning how to build web sites. I love hosting my own networking event once a month in Prezzo, Market Square, Kettering and continue to do this with two colleagues. I knew I wanted to start a web design business to help small and start up companies, as I can remember how difficult this is and we would do everything for them, so they could focus on growing their business. When starting you don’t always have lots of money for a website or know how to build one properly, so I knew a monthly fee model would be what I wanted to do.
